Traditionally, the Sunday before Cannes Lions has been treated as a soft landing—time to arrive, recover from jet lag, and wait for the festival to begin. But after a decade of producing in Cannes, we noticed a consistent behavior shift: brands, creatives, and agencies weren’t waiting. They were actively seeking each other out, eager to connect and set the tone for the week ahead.
We identified Sunday as a strategic white space—and designed an experience that met the moment. By offering one of the only curated events before the official kickoff, we created immediate value: meaningful IRL connections, premium brand visibility, and a beachfront setting that signaled the week had already begun. Attendees entered Cannes with relationships already formed, while brands benefited from early access to the industry’s most influential voices—before the convention doors ever opened.
This strategic reframing transformed Sunday from a passive arrival day into a high-impact networking moment, resulting in significant press coverage and recognition as a finalist for BizBash’s Best Reimagined Event.
UNLISTED by Super Great Fantastic
Hosted at Plage Croisette Beach, UNLISTED was intended to be a celebration of the people who make Cannes happen—everyone from EAs to CMOs—often behind the scenes. The party intended to offer attendees a unique opportunity to build community while enjoying Champagne and high-energy performances by the musical headliner, South African electronic music duo GoldFish. Curated by Super Great Fantastic The event featured black-and-white decor, disco vibes, and caviar bumps.

The Gathering at Cannes Lions 2025 was an intimate, editorially styled beachfront dinner curated by Super Great Fantastic, uniting 30 hand-selected industry leaders, creatives, and brand decision-makers.
Held on the Croisette with sweeping ocean views, the evening featured a multi-course menu, curated cocktails, and a fireside conversation exploring the future of brand experiences.Thoughtfully layered with elegant design and custom details, The Gathering set the tone for the week — a rare moment of calm, creativity, and meaningful connection before the festival whirlwind began.
